Original era manufacture.Just received a small quantity of these original T1 Chin Strap Release sets, all of them residing in their original shipping box. The original instruction sheet is dated May 1944. These were a modified clip that attached to the existing web chin strap clips to provide a quick release mechanisim which protected the wearers neck from injury due to concussion or sudden impact. Sold by the set, instruction sheet not included.
