Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, front seamed, reflective edge M1 steel helmet with original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps with steel fittings.Battleship gray paint finish inside and out which obscures the lot numberSeaman Paper Company high pressure liner with light OD canvas webbing, original sweatband and original leather chinstrap. The liner displays considerable age staining and wear, the chinstrap is complete but does show exposure to moisture. Stenciled on the front of the liner in white paint are the initials JGW.
