Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, front seamed, non-reflective edge  M1 steel helmet with original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps, with steel fittings. Battleship gray paint finish to the exterior of the helmet with a stenciled "MT 28" in white paint at front, lot number 345A. Original OD paint finish on the interior of the helmet. Seaman Paper high pressure liner with light OD webbing, and light OD sweatband. Original leather chinstrap in pliable condition with magnetic buckles. Light Navy gray paint finish to the exterior.
