Original era manufacture. Swivel bale, front seamed, reflective edge M1 steel helmet with original sewn dark OD canvas chinstraps with steel fittings. Dark blue Battleship gray paint finish to the exterior of the helmet with a stenciled "L78" in white paint at front.Original OD paint finish on the interior of the helmet, with a faint lot number, which begins with 8 followed by two more digits and the letter B.International Molded Plastics high pressure liner with light OD webbing and a Vietnam War sweatband. Original OD finish on the exterior of the liner.
