Original period manufacture. Front seam, reflective edge helmet with swivel bales and original sewn light OD chinstraps with darkened brass fittings. Faint lot numbers are visible under the visor, I can see 80 but that is all.On the front exterior of the helmet is a rather faint painted 1st Lieutenant's bar, and on the reverse a long one inch vertical stripe.High pressure liner made by Westinghouse, with light OD webbing and sweatband.Solid WWII helmet showing honest wear and use.
