Original period manufacture. Original paint finish, front seam, non-reflective edge helmet, with original sewn, Dark OD chinstraps with blackened steel fittings.The helmet is quite sound, with an old piece of masking tape stuck inside giving the name of an original owner, Sgt. Chandler.Original plastic liner made by CAPAC Manufacturing Company, with light OD canvas webbing, complete with a non-adjustable nape strap. Portions of the leather liner chinstrap remain, to include both triangle hooks and adjusting buckle.Post production gloss OD paint finish to the liner, with a water transfer Corporal stripe insignia at the front. There is a surface puncture, or crack, in the upper right crown of the liner.
