Original period manufacture. Dark OD paint finish, reflective edge, front seam steel helmet with a lot number of 852E.Light OD chinstraps with blackened steel fittings. The right side strap is a replacement, which has been secured using a glue to hold the folded ends together. This was done with considerations to display, to preserve the original bar-tack stitching.  Original plastic liner made by CAPAC Manufacturing Company, with light OD canvas webbing, complete with a non-adjustable nape strap. Brown leather liner strap with blackened steel fittings.
