Original period manufacture. Reflective edge, swivel bale steel helmet, showing a lot number of what looks to be 167B under the front visor. Light OD canvas chinstraps with darkened brass fittings. Original paint exterior, with a dark red painted 70 mm disc on each side. A friend (thanks Steve)  suggested possibly Red Ball Express...good suggestion, but difficult to say exactly when, or by whom it was added. Plastic high pressure liner made by Westinghouse, dark OD webbing, no sweatband with an adjustable nape strap.
