Original period manufacture. A nice example of the classic US helmet from WWII. Front seam, reflective edge helmet shell made by Schlueter, original sewn light OD chinstraps with blackened steel fittings. Original, rough texture paint finish to the surface of the shell, no denting, just some light, scattered surface corrosion.Plastic liner made by CUPAC, original leather chinstrap with a blackened alloy adjusting buckle. Original OD webbing throughout with a leather sweatband and a non-adjustable nape strap.
