Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch blade bayonet made by PAL and dated 1942. Finished with a dark parkerized surface, postwar, dark finish to the guard and pommel, with a serial number A990 stamped into the guard. The blade has not been sharpened with no nicks in the cutting edge. Original black plastic grips. Original GI OD plastic scabbard with the Ordnance Bomb insignia on the steel scabbard throat, with some small surface holes in the scabbard tip, and wear to the tip.
