Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch bladed bayonet made by Utica Cutlery and dated 1942. Parkerized finish, no nicks in the cutting edge, minor age staining to the surface. Mix of steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, the lock button works properly, and the ribbed plastic grips display minimal marring and wear.Sound, original finish OD plastic scabbard with an Ordnance Bomb proofed steel scabbard throat. There is some scattered wear to the finish along its length, and a few small splotches of garage paint. Small dent in the body, right side, about 5 inches above the tip.
