Original period manufacture. Uncut, 16 inch bladed bayonet made by Utica Cutlery and dated 1942. Parkerized finish, no nicks in the cutting edge, scattered areas of surface corrosion and pitting along the blade on one side. Mix of steel patina finish to the guard and pommel, the lock button works properly, and the ribbed plastic grips display minimal marring and wear.Sound, original finish OD plastic scabbard with an Ordnance Bomb proofed steel scabbard throat.
