Original period manufacture. Uncut 16 inch blade bayonet made by Union Fork and Hoe (UFH) Company and dated 1943. Original dark parkerized  finish to the blade, guard and pommel, with a matching finish to the guard and pommel.Very sound black plastic grips displaying minimal wear, and a properly working lock mechanism. Very clean OD plastic scabbard with a steel throat with a USN Mk1 markings. This is a very clean bayonet.
