Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a bayonet which was quite busy during the early part of Americas participation in WWII. Originally produced with a 16 inch blade by Rock Island Armory in 1906,  it was then cut-down to its present 10 inch length, given a parkerized finish and placed in this WWII era plastic scabbard.Sound black plastic grips, steel patina finish to the scabbard throat, original GI finish on the scabbard.
