Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a bayonet which was quite busy during the early part of Americas participation in WWII. Originally produced with a 16 inch blade by Rock Island Armory in 1917, it was then cut-down to its present 10 inch length, given a parkerized finish and placed in this WWII era plastic scabbard. Sound black plastic grips, metal finish has been cleaned, GI overpaint finish on the scabbard.
