Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a bayonet which was quite busy during the early part of America's participation in WWII.Originally produced with a 16 inch blade by Springfield Armory in 1906,  it was then cut-down to its present 10 inch length, given a parkerized finish and placed in this WWII era plastic scabbard.The blade retains most of its original parkerized finish, with a clipped, Bowie-style point. Sound black plastic grips with original finish to the plastic scabbard.
