Original era manufacture. A very clean example of a bayonet which was quite busy during the early months of America's participation in WWII. Originally produced with a 16 inch blade then cut-down to its present 10 inch length. UFH 1943 dated on the ricasso, spearpoint blade with most of its dark pakerized finish remaining. Old repaint to the scabbard body. A sound bayonet overall.
