Original era manufacture. A sound example of a WWII, M1911 45 Pistol holster, made by BOYT and dated 44. Dark leather finish, supple leather with clear markings on the reverse. The body is pushed down a bit, but no dry rot or loose stitching, looks like a pistol will fit just fine.
