Original era manufacture. Prewar US helmet of a pattern worn at Pearl Harbor, Wake Island, Guam & Philippines in 41-42. The helmet is complete with its proper liner and chinstrap and is about a size 7. The initials RF are painted in red on the underside of the brim. There is a shallow dent in the crown near the liner attaching nut and the paint finish is two tone OD.
