Original period manufacture. Light OD green canvas with tan canvas webbing. It is complete with an unmarked meatcan pouch attached to the flap, and a C.P. LTD 1944 British made pack extender. On the pack itself, the original markings are quite clear, M.E. Co.(Mills Equipment Company) with a 1944 date, British Made. All of the metal fittings are present, and the canvas is free of dry-rot.Pretty much storage wear only, some light scattered staining, near zero corrosion on the metal fittings.
