Original period manufacture. Scarce maker with an unusual stacked leather grip with the wide spaced and rounded, leather sections. A previous owner who should never be allowed to use power tools (see the Gerber cloneelsewhere on our page) tried to clean the blade surface using a dremmel tool. This damage can be dressed properly by someone who knows what they are doing. The blade's configuration was not compromisedand the edge and point remain sharp. Clear US M3 ACC markings on the guard. First model M8 scabbard made without the M1910 belt loop. Shows honest GI use and wear.
