Original era manufacture. Eary production M3 Fighting Knife with the blade being maker marked US M3 CAMILLUS. The blade has been lightly sharpened for service use and retains about 40% of it's original finish. No corrosion issues, and the tip is very slightly rounded. Stacked leather grip with some scattered bumping and marring, with the segment just above the guard being in poor condition, subsequently the guard is a bit loose. Steel pommel with the Ordnance Bomb proof. Well used last pattern M8 scabbard, with a dark OD canvas belt loop and M1910 belt hook. Honest original example that has seen soldier use.
