Original era manufacture. Eary production M3 Fighting Knife with the blade being maker marked and dated, US M3 CAMILLUS 1943. The blade has been sharpened for service use and retains about 40% of it's original finish. Basically sound stacked leather grip with some scattered bumping and marring but no broken or chipped segments. Standard first pattern M8 scabbard  with a green canvas belt loop and pommel strap. Soldier inked his service number on the top of the strap.
