Original era manufacture. Blade marked U.S. M3 H.Boker & Co. U.S.A.. The blade shows period sharpening and a nick in the cutting edge towards the tip. Scattered cleaned corrosion and mix of parkerized finish. Tip remains sharp. The guard has been soldier modified into an S shape, decent leather grip with no missing segments, ordnance proofed on the pommel. First pattern M8 scabbard without the M1910 belt hook. All of the metal fittings have a surface corrosion finish but no pitting to speak of. Well used soldiers knife from a scarce maker.
