Original era manufacture. A guard marked example by Case, and first pattern M8 scabbard without the M1910 belt hook. Gi modified guard which now displays an S shape. The blade retains its basic configuration with evidence of cleaning and light spotting from corrosion. Sound leather grip with no missing segments, ordnance proofed on the pommel. Sound example showing typical soldier use and wear.
