Original era manufacture. Blade marked example, U.S. M-3 UTICA, little of the parkerized finish remains, sharp point, properly sharpened cutting edge, overall showing normal soldier use. Sound stacked leather grip with some denting and bruising to the wedges, no missing segments or cracks. Below the pommel is an inticately woven sailors-type knot showing matching age to the remainder of the grip. Plastic M8 scabbard which has been modified by the removal of the canvas frog and a leather belt loop installed. Nice personalized WWII fighting knife.
