Original period manufacture. A very sound example with a parkerized finish to blade, guard and pommel, USM3 CASE stamped into the tip of the guard. Very clean stacked leather pommel. Early pattern M8 scabbard, original finish, with a dark OD belt loop made without the 1910 belt hook. Overall the knife exhibits minimal wear from use, mostly from storage. Minor rust staining on the canvas frog.
