Original era manufacture. Very faint blade markings by AERIAL MARINETTE WIS. Basic configuration remains with an overall gray finish with light pitting from cleaned corrosion. The stacked leather grip shows normal age and wear but no damage. Cleaned surface corrosion on the guard and pommel, just what you would expect to see on a soldier used bayonet. The M6 scabbard is complete, age darkened leather but no dry rot. The metal plate at the tip is quite dark, as are the scabbard rivets, with clear markings and date below the throat staples.
