Original era manufacture. Standard M3 pattern knife, marked USM3 Case on the tip of the guard.  GI modified grip of alternating bands of plexiglas, aluminum and phenolic with a modifed pommel. The blade has been cleaned, and is very sharp.  The M8 scabbard shows considerable wear to the original painted finish, with a GI installed leather belt loop and pommel strap.
