US WWII M3 Knife & M6 Sheath, Blade Marked PAL

What we have here is a blade marked M3 knife by PAL, fair amount of finish remaining, lightly sharpened near the tip, no corrosion damage in evidence. The stacked leather grip shows typical soldier wear but nor cracked or missing pieces. The M6 scabbard is unmarked and though showing age staining and wear to the metal rivets, is likely an old replica. In our experience (which is limited with these)most of the original M6 scabbards are maker marked and dated below the throat staples. If we're wrong here, good for you.
