Original era manufacture. A fairly large format green painted spelter tank marked "HEAVY TANK M6" on the back. The barrel is missing, but the barrels for the secondary armament are in place. We've owned this for at least a decade, it has spent that time quietly sitting on a shelf waiting for it's time in the sun on our site. I remember when we purchased it, and a large number of similar tanks, that the seller said that this was a rendition of a supposed German heavy tank yet to be encountered. File that in the for what it's worth category, those who collect these know far more than I do about these. Tank measures 8 inches in length. Thank you Robert for adding the following:US tank developed at the beginning of WWII and only 40 tanks and variations were produced.  It never saw combat and never left US soil.  It was felt the main gun was not different enough from the other tanks in service and it had too high of a silhouette.  It was canceled on December 14, 1944.
