Original era manufacture. Post WWII spiral bound album containing over 140 bw images of a young Marine and his Pals during WWII. There are numerous candid shots of him posing with his buddies, many identified with names. In addition, there are numerous images of combat on Bougainville, including ghastly photos of dead Japanese, topless native-girls and general destruction. While many of those images will be familier to collectors, a number do look like they are one-off images taken by the Marine.
