Original period signature. US WWII 1944 Medal of Honor citation, listed with the National Medal of Honor Society for Second Lieutenant Van T. Barfoot, 157th Infantry, 45th Infantry. 3x5 plain white card with his signature. Included are several pages of information regarding his WWII exploits which earned him the Medal of Honor, several photos of him and details of a run-in with his neighborhood HOA, which tried to prevent him from flying the American flag in his yard.
