Original period manufacture. Rare US military issue, WWII production 48 stat National Flag. Inside the upper end of the hoist is a Philadelphia QM Depot tag, date March 1943. The size stated does not include the fringe. Individually embroidered stars, individually sewn stripes. Lightly toned and stained from age and use, really a gorgeous old flag. No holes or tears. Leather mounting tabs top and bottom inside the hoist sleeve.
