US WWII Military Police Armband and Lanyard

Original era manufacture. Dark blue wool band with sewn, white wool letters MP. The entire armband is backed in light OD cotton material and the ends were secured by three snaps, most of which are now missing. Safety pinned to the armband is a white cotton pistol lanyard with blackened metal fittings and hard rubber slides. We have tested the lanyard and armband under a UV light and they do not glow. Further, there is glue and paper residue on the back of the armband from having been mounted in a scrapbook.
