Original era manufacture. A scarce WWII issue knife, designed for use for the 10th Mountain Division, and First Special Service Force. The most notable addition to the knife, is a Phillips head screwdriver intended to tighten the bindings of skis. The blades are all present, and display a steel patina finish from service wear and use. Wide steel bale on one end, with surface wear to the bone grips.See page 71, Pocket Knives of the United States Military, by M.W. Silvey for a similar example.
