Original period manufacture. A WWII Musette Bag in light OD canvas, maker marked Powers and Company Inc. 1940. On the reverse is stenciled the original owners name and rank,  Lt Col Albert B. Ede.It is a very clean example, no holes or tears, good color to the fabric, few small stains handling and storage. Excellent research potential. Colonel Ede was a career Army officer, going to France in 1917 with the Coast Artillery as a Lieutenant. He was a full bird colonel post WWII.
