Original period manufacture. This well-worn old medal came out of an estate in Benson Arizona, man we purchased it from had no history to go with it. Standard WWII DFC bronze planchet with a very dark patina. Engraved on the reverse is Melvin J. Burrell with his service number below. Good research potential.
