Original period publication. One of a trio of issues of the National Geographic published in 1943, which detailed military regalia of the US Armed Forces and Civilian Organizations during the war.This issue concerns itself with the following subject; Insignia of the United States Armed Forces, The Traditions and Glamour of Insignia, and Aircraft Insignia, Spirit of Youth. Excellent wartime advertising, includes an original large format map of Europe and the near east dated 1943. The magazine is quite sound for its age, displays normal handling and wear without any real issues, No price or scribbling on the cover.
