Original period publication. One of a trio of issues of the National Geographic published in 1943, which detailed military regalia of the US Armed Forces and Civilian Organizations during the war.This issue concerns itself with the following subjects; Heraldry of Heroism (Medals and Awards), Women In Uniform. Excellent wartime advertising as well. The magazine is quite sound for its age, displays normal handling and wear without any real issues. These three issues in 1943 served as early collector references for many years.  Stock photo, minor details will vary
