Original period manufacture. Parkerized finished blade with makers name on one side of the ricasso and U.S. NAVY on the opposite side. Stacked leather grip with red & black spacers at top and bottom. There is a 2mm gap between the base of the blade and top of the guard due to shrinkage. No cracked or missing segments in the stacked leather grip, thick pommel with a circular tang. Standard gray plastic Mk2 scabbard
