This is a 1944 uniform with the gold bullion embroidered insignia being worn on each sleeve.This uniform would have been worn with a white shirt and blue shoes. The jacket could also be worn with a white skirt and white shoes.This uniform consists of a jacket and skirt. It is in very good condition and was well cared for.32 inch bust, 23 inch long jacket28 inch waist, 26 inch long skirtHer name is stitched in the uniform in two places. A search of her name produced a newspaper article September 12, 1941 showing her in her white Nurse uniform with several other nurses. She was from Wisconsin. She was a Lieutenant (Junior Grade) when she wore this uniform.
