Original era manufacture. Ship recognition model of the US Navy Aircraft Carrier USS WASP in it's original box of issue. The ship measures 7.25 inches in length in original paint. USS Wasp, CV-7, commissioned in 1940 and lost when torpedoed by the IJN submarine I-19 on 14 September 1942.
