Original era manufacture. Metal ship recognition model of the Battleship USS New York, BB-55, in it's original box of issue. The ship measures 5.75 inches in length. Original paint, near complete, missing one of the two seaplane cranes. She entered service in 1914, served during WWI, and in the Atlantic and Pacific during WWII. She also survived two Atomic Tests postwar, finally succumbing to naval gunfire as a target ship off Hawaii in 1948.
