Original era manufacture. Metal ship recognition model of the Battleship USS North Carolina, BB-55, in it's original box of issue. The ship measures 7.25 inches in length. Original paint, near complete, missing one of the small 5 inch gun turrets. Completed in 1941, she served in the Pacific during WWII earning 15 Battle Stars, more than any other battleship in the US fleet. Today she resides near Wilmington North Carolina on permanent display.
