Original era manufacture. Ship recognition model of the US Navy USS Saratoga, CV-3, Aircraft Carrier. The model measures almost 9 inches in length and resides in it's original box of issue. She entered service in 1928, and served throughout WWII in many campaigns in the Pacific Theater. She was sunk in one of the early Atomic tests shortly after the end of WWII.
