Original era manufacture. Metal ship recognition model of the Aircraft Carrier USS Yorktown, CV-5 in it's original box of issue. The ship measures 8 inches in length. Original paint, complete. Commissioned in 1937, she sank on June 7 1942 after being damaged during the battle of Midway.
