Original era manufacture. Little definitive information exists regarding these interesting WWII combat knives. Made from cut-down Patton Saber blade, fitted with a simple rubber tube grip, and a stamped steel guard with four domed protrusions. No scabbard.Supposedly produced for supplying Philippine guerrillas during WWII fighting the Japanese occupation; hence the drop knife moniker. No scabbard.
