Original era manufacture. Tan canvas pack extender for the M1910 pattern knapsack. USMC stenciled, with stenciled name T.M. COWLEY. Ancestry reveals a single listing with a number of USMC Muster listings for a T.M. (Thomas Michael) COWLEY, beginning in January 1942 and ending in January 1946, including a Marine Corps Casualty Index Listing for 22 February 1945, Volcano Islands, WIA, Co. G, 2BN, 21MAR 3MARDIV, Service Number 341274
