Original era manufacture. These rather bizarre examples of WWII German insignia, are not "fakes" in the classic sense, rather examples of enemy insignia produced during the war for sale. They could never be mistaken for the real thing, but satisfied an early desire for captured enemy regalia. This desire was to be further satisfied by the tidal wave of original items which flooded the US after May 1945. Of note, the white disc of the armband does not fluoresce under a UV light.
